Why are my earnings lower?

There are many reasons as to why your earnings may be lower (in certain months or in general). Some of them being:

• Your viewers have Adblock enabled - People who use this when watching your videos will not generate you any ad-revenue.

• You’re in a country with a low CPM rate. 

• The first quarter of the year (January, February, March & April) will be when you generally see a HUGE dip in your earnings. This is because advertisers spend the rest of their budgets in the final quarter of the year, meaning YouTuber’s earn less at the start of the year. 

• You have stopped creating content regularly (meaning your viewers aren’t watching your videos so much anymore) or because your channel is inactive. 
• You have a low audience retention (watch time) percentage.
